By joining us, you will be working on an application for managing tasks for teachers. The product aims to facilitate the daily work of teachers by effectively managing tasks, schedules, and collaboration with other teachers or students. The main focus will be on backend development, including: Designing software architecture and implementing modules in conjunction with product development Technical implementation of business requirements Administering, scaling, and optimizing existing code, architecture, and development processes Collaboratively designing, planning, and implementing new functionalities Creating technical documentation Required skills and tools: Minimum 5 years of professional experience – senior level Very good command of the German language (level B2/C1) Proficiency in TypeScript programming language and Node.js environment for the backend Experience working with the Nest.js framework (backend) and Next.js / React (frontend) Communication and teamwork skills Nice to have: Knowledge of the Jest testing framework and ability to write unit and integration tests Experience working with APIs, including tRPC Understanding of communication and event systems, such as NATS Familiarity with OLTP databases, such as CockroachDB (compatible with PostgreSQL), and in-memory databases, e.g., Redis Ability to deploy applications using Kubernetes in the OVH environment, following the GitOps principle with Flux Knowledge of Git and the nx build system What will happen when you apply? 1 (phone call) HR Call Short conversation with Recruiter, perfect opportunity to get to know each other and talk about cooperation.
